Wow, how many times have I driven past this place and never stopped in for a meal. Had Sunday lunch there with a friend and loved the atmosphere. Reminded me of the English pubs I had visited while traveling through the U.K. Menu is varied, beers and wine list was great. Staff very friendly. If going for dinner, I would suggest a booking. Only complaint is we thought it was a little overpriced for lunch.
Absolutely beautiful roast beef dinner. The beef was the most tender, melt in the mouth, delicious!! The fire was going, very cosy! Staff were extremely friendly and polite and the service was really quick. Would definitely recommend the Fox & Hounds. Great atmosphere!
Dined today Christmas in July, terrible meal, long wait, obviously not enough staff to cater for the size of the venue, Yorkshire pudding soggy and uneatable, garden peas if its English should have been Mushy, Onion gravy practically non existent, promised a discount which was not forthcoming, Staff lovely but far too busy to remember everything. Sticky date pudding divine good size serve, with ice cream so small it was served in an egg cup. Sorry Foxy you did not make a return customer out of me.
