Take a walk through the streets and laneways of Benalla; home to regional Victoria's leading street art festival, Wall to Wall.
Benalla, a small rural city of 14,000 located two hours north of Melbourne on the Broken River in Victoria's High Country, provides visitors with a rich and contemporary arts experience.
Over the past 5 years, Benalla has played host to over 70 world-class artists including local talent in Rone, Adnate, Dvate, Kitt Bennett plus international guests including Insane 51 (Greece), Akid1 (Malaysia) and Lucy Lucy (France), Elle (USA) each making their mark on its walls.
Take a short drive to smaller township of Goorambat to commence the North East silo trail, venture onto the townships of Devenish, St James and Tungamah returning to Benalla through the Winton Wetlands.
The fresh paint is held annually in April, provides the town with an ever-changing landscape, and an opportunity for another visit.
